Examination in sri lanka

                                         The General Certificate of Education (G.C.E) of Sri Lanka has main two exams for students in Sri Lanka. The students of 16yrs old has to sit for the G.C.E (O/L) exam which conduct by the department of examination. Based on the O/L results, students decide which stream they should follow for G.C.E (A/L) exam. These three main streams are Science, Commerce & Arts. Student who wish to do science subjects in science stream, they should get good result in Science, Maths & English at G.C.E (O/L) exam.

                                       There are two optional subjects in the science stream. They are Combined Maths & Bio Science. Two other main subjects in the science stream. They are Physics & Chemistry. All students in all streams must have two subjects, they are English & GIT(General Information Technology).
